What we automate
Plinthpost reads your prior-year pest-control records — license numbers, technician roster, service categories, addresses, surety amounts — and writes them into your state’s current licensing and renewal packet. The packet follows the same template your state would issue; the values come from your files, not from a model inventing them.
If a renewal lapses, most states won’t let you keep operating under that license — the deadline is non-negotiable. The point of the tool is to make sure the paperwork is ready before the deadline, not the day before it.
You upload or enter your records
Hand us last year’s filings, your technician roster, and whatever your state already has on file. PDF, CSV, or a clean form — we work from what you actually have, not from invention.
We draft the packet against your state’s templates
Each field in the renewal packet is filled from your source record, and every line carries a citation back to the row it came from. If a state asks for something we couldn’t pull from your records, that field is left blank with a note — nothing is guessed.
You review, we flag, then you sign
Anything that doesn’t line up between last year and this year — a new technician, a changed address, a number that moved — is flagged for you to confirm before the packet goes anywhere. We fill the paperwork; we don’t sign your name.
Who it’s for
Owner-operators and small pest-control companies who are still filling their licensing packets by hand every cycle. If you have one truck and a stack of folders, or a five-tech shop and one person who quietly absorbs the renewal weekend — that’s the customer the tool was built for.
If you’re a multi-state enterprise with a compliance team, a general counsel, and a spend line for renewal consultants, this isn’t the right fit and we’ll say so up front.
Why it pays the bill
- It takes the renewal weekend off your calendar. A manual packet run is a day of pulling last year’s file, re-keying numbers, and chasing signatures; this is a review of a draft that’s already assembled.
- It cuts the typo class of error — a license number copied wrong, a service category left off, a surety amount that doesn’t match your state’s current floor. Every field is cited to the record it came from, so the review is a check, not a hunt.
- It keeps the renewal from lapsing. The tool surfaces the upcoming deadline with a flagged draft, so the packet is in your hands before the window closes — not two days after.
What we don’t do
We fill the paperwork. We don’t practice law, don’t offer compliance opinions, and don’t submit anything to a state on your behalf — the signed packet is yours to file the same way it’s always been. If your state’s rules change, the templates update behind the scenes; if a change affects a packet you already drafted, you’ll see it flagged the next time you open it.
